February 8-10: Midget Major and Minor at ITC Richardson
February 22-24: Squirts - A only at ITC Richardson
March 1-3: Pee Wee and Bantams. (There will be a AA, A and A2 in Pee Wee). A2 will be in Houston. AA and A for Bantam in ITC.
The Southwest Select Hockey Series Championship tournament is open to all SWSHS participating teams that have competed in four of the five season tournaments. Rink locations are based on participating teams for this Championship event.
This championship represents the culmination of the SWSHS season for our A teams and the last major event for our AA teams prior to their entry into their respective state tournaments.
Tournament Information
o 4 game minimum, 5-6 games possible
o No required hotels (but we can provide you recommendations)
o All tournaments feature a wide variety of teams from the Southwest region
o Balanced, competitive divisions
o Event sanctioned by USA Hockey
o Free admission to all tournament games
o Individual awards and team banner for champions in each division
o Most Valuable Player award in each division
o Minimum 13-minute periods for Squirts and 15-minute periods for Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget age groups
