SWSHS Southwest Rumble
Come join teams from throughout the Southwest area as we meet to play in this year’s Southwest Rumble Tournament. Each of our 2012-13 tournaments include our current season series participants from Texas and neighboring states, as well as other teams from the Southwest and beyond. The Southwest Select Hockey Series (SWSHS) is home to 2012 Tier II AA national championship organizations as well as competitive A teams in the region.
Every effort is made to accommodate the schedules of our out-of-town participants.
Tournament Information
o 4-game minimum
o No required hotels (but we can provide you recommendations)
o All tournaments feature a wide variety of teams from the Southwest region
o Balanced, competitive divisions
o Event sanctioned by USA Hockey
o Free Admission to all Tournament Games
o Individual Awards and Team Banner for Champions in each division
o Most Valuable Player Awards
o Minimum 13-minute periods for Squirts and 15-minute periods for Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget age groups
Visiting teams: If you would like to schedule a friendship game on a Friday night in addition to tournament play, let us know and we'll help you set up opponent, find ice, and secure officials.
